I decided it was time for some new pictures of Krieg. We haven't done anything too out of the ordinary lately, so these are just some of my favorite faces. I'm sure the next month of being at the beach will cause me to have the camera out more often!

Fly Fishing in WNC
Cullowhee made the NY Times. Can you believe that? Well my favorite perk about living in Cullowhee has been the fly fishing, and NY times mentions that as well. check out the article, and if anyone wants to come spend a day or two and do some fly fishing just give me a call.

How God has worked
Cat and I were talking after Graduation about how much we have seen God work in people's lives over the last few years. And we came to realize this. We had 9 guys graduate this year, 6 came of them came to Christ through our ministry. We had 7 girls graduate this year and 5 of them came to Christ through our ministry. 16 students, 11 came to Christ in the last 4 years. Then we started thinking about who we have seen come to faith, including those that did not graduate this year. 26. 26 students have committed their lives to following Christ since we came on staff at Western. I often only think about the problems in our ministry and the things we need to improve on. It was really humbling and exciting to think that in the last 4 years 26 people have accepted Christ and are still walking with him now. It has been amazing, I can't wait to see what God continues to do through their lives after college.

Four Years Already??
Today was graduation at Western. Four years ago when we first arrived in Cullowhee, these graduates were freshmen, starting their first year of college. It is kind of crazy to think that we have been here for four years! It was also sad to see many of these students graduating and moving on, because many of them are some of the first students we really invested in at Western. But we are thankful that God has called us to "build laborers...for the lost world" as our CO mission statement says, and we are excited to see how God will use them all over the world to advance His Kingdom.
