We went contra dancing (kind of a twist on country line dancing...but contra dancing apparently is huge in the hippie/free spirited culture) in Brasstown in NC. A student at Western lives in Brasstown, and a group of about 15 of us went to her house for dinner and contra dancing one saturday night. It was a fun experience although the dance hall smelt awfully strong of Body Order ( I think it is the hippie culture). But it was fun, and a great opportunity to connect with our students.
