I am driving my Mom's Xterra for the month and noticed that she had a broken Leaf Spring. The guy at the Nissan dealership said he has been working there for years and never seen this happen before. I thought this was interesting and wanted to post it. So if you are ever driving an SUV or Truck and hear a metallic clinking sound in the undercarriage, look to see if you have a broken leaf spring, which is basically the shocks or struts for the vehicle.
