Ashley is a Junior at Western from High Point, NC. Ashley is a woman that many other girls at Western look up to, and she has grown into a voice of wisdom and maturity in our ministry this year. Cat and I are excited about seeing her grow in the following areas this summer. She said this is how she would like for us to pray for her.
"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. col.3:12
and 1 peter 5:5 "Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
That i would learn what it means to be submissive to authority, to become a better follower so that i may become a better leader, to be humble-thinking for others before myself, and learning what it means to serve others behind the scenes.
