Man Time

One of Krieg's favorite things is having Man Time with his Daddy. Now, the definition of Man Time is any hanging out they do together, without Mommy and Karis. However, in the last month, Man Time, for the most part, has evolved into their hour or so of hang out time after dinner doing yard work. It has become a great system. I have time to clean my mess in the kitchen and get Karis to bed, Kevin gets all the plants and grass watered, picks up the sticks that cover our yard anytime it is windy, and Krieg gets to play outside with Daddy, usually managing to get himself soaking wet. Everyone wins! Yay for Man Time!


In case you can't tell, this was Kevin's shirt from twenty something years ago. It's a Myrtle Beach shirt with his name on the back. His grandmother had it saved with a number of other clothes in her attic. It is the softest thing you've ever felt and Krieg feels so cool wearing Daddy's shirt!
